Koena Mitra (born 7 Jan. 1981 (31 years ago)) is an Indian actress and former model.

Early years

Koena Mitra was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. Mitra attended South Point High School and Lady Brabourne College in Calcutta. and she trained in street hiphop, latin dance for 9yrs, action training, water sports, and lots of competetion she had won as a teenager.

Career

Modeling

While in college, Mitra pursued a career in modeling. Over the years, Koena has done commercials like ACP Whisky, Mirinda, Clinic All Clear, Maruti Alto. She is the winner of Gladrags Mega Model 2002 (10 years ago). She later on went on to become the semi-finalist of Miss Intercontinental. She featured in quite a few music videos like Stereo Nation’s “Ishq”, “Aaj Ki Raat”, “Akh Teri”, “Channo” by Jassi.

Acting

Koena made her movie debut in an item number in Ram Gopal Verma’s Road. her launch was in musafir opposite sanjay dutt and anil kapoor. Her next was with fardeen khan in ek khiladi ek haseena, then apna sapna money money with riteish deshmukh, anamika - with dino morea. forthcoming projects include an english action movie.
