Isabeli Bergossi Fontana (born Jul. 4, 1983 (29 years ago)) is a Brazilian model.

Early years

Fontana was born in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. In 1996 (16 years ago) she made it to the finals of the Elite Model Look when she was just 13 and in the following year she moved from Southern Brazil to Milan, Italy, to start her modelling career.

Career

In 1999 (13 years ago), at the age of 16, she appeared in the Victoria's Secret (26 walls) lingerie catalogue. The shoot caused controversy, as Victoria's Secret (26 walls) stated that they would not use girls younger than 21. Soon after the Victoria's Secret (26 walls) shoot, she was signed by Versace, Ralph Lauren and Valentino.

Since 1999 (13 years ago) she has modeled for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Marie Claire, ELLE, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Numéro, i-D, Arena and many others.

Fontana has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns including Armani Jeans, Chanel, Colcci, Disritmia, Emporio Armani, Enrique Martinez, Helena Rubinstein, Hugo Boss, Hussein Chalayan, Massimo Dutti, M. Officer, Nicole Farhi, Oscar de la Renta, Peter Hahn, Philips, Ralph Lauren, Revlon, Roberto Cavalli, Rosa Chá, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tommy Hilfiger, Triton, Valentino, Versace, Victoria's Secret (26 walls), Vivara and others.

Personal life

As a youth Isabeli attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Portão district of Curitiba. She was married to model Álvaro Jacomossi but they divorced in 2004 (8 years ago). Their son, Zion, was born in 2003 (9 years ago). Fontana married actor and model Henri Castelli on dec. 10, 2005 (7 years ago) and their son, Lucas, was born on Oct. 23, 2006 (6 years ago) in São Paulo. Fontana and Castelli are separated now and are in the process of divorcing.. She has since then dated enterpreneur Rico Mansur (they broke in 2008 (4 years ago) after a year) and is now dating Marcelo Falcão, leader of Brazilian rock band O Rappa. She has said in a large audience TV programme (Hebe) that she wouldn't like her son to be gay.
